Ash Riser Los Angeles The easiest way to describe the Los Angeles born and raised artist Ash Riser's music, is to simply say he's never doing what you would expect. Over the past 10 years he has been experimenting different sounds and genres. From his beginnings with his band PISTOL PISTOL, to having worked along side and with some of the biggest names in rap, his underground dubstep days as "ASHTROBOT", to his short lived rap career while signed to buygore management, chances are you've heard him do a song at some point, in some way, release a song in almost every genre, except country. It was in 2016, right after Riser had just released his "Modern Medicine" ep in late 2015, he flooded content releasing 3 EP's which inlcuded "HOME" along with countless singles, including collaborations with Fredo Santana, ab-soul, and working on Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" Riser started writing his critically aclaimed debut album "GHOSTS" (which was independently released july 7th 2017) Diving deeper into the "garage rock" almost lo-fi grunge- pop sound he hinted at on "GHOSTS" with songs like "Hell's waiting room" "Can't Breathe" and "Take me to your leader" to name a few, his latest body of work "A.K.A. Liability" is a perfect blend of up beat / catchy instrumentals with wailing electric guitars, bouncing bass lines, huge 808's and hooks that will be stuck in your head for weeks, mixed with the most intimate and relatable lyrics of his discography to date. Claiming the term and genre "grunge pop", that's exactly what you'll get upon this LP's release "A.K.A. Liability" will be released in January of 2020.
